We make the rails 10 feet long. They are assembled in a zig-zag fashion which yield a 7 feet of fencing per rail length.
How much do you charge per rail?
Each 10 foot oak rail costs $12 a piece.
Can you ship the fence to me?
Yes, we can ship almost anywhere in the continental United States. For example, we will ship orders of 30-100 rails with our own truck within 100 miles of our base. For larger lots, we can send a tractor trailer load wherever you need. We will do our best to deliver the rails wherever they need to go.
We charge for shipping on a quote basis. We factor in the quantity of rails, the distance of travel, fuel, and handling costs for each job.
What kind of wood do you use?
We use locally harvested red and white oak.
How long do the fences last?
We generally tell people that the fences will last 20-50 years. It all depends on the sunlight, rain, shade cycle, etc. We make our rails thick and beefy which adds life to the fence.
How long will the production and shipping take?
We split each rail by hand to custom order. Lead times for orders will vary depending on the season. We usually estimate 6-8 weeks for larger orders during the summer when we're more busy. We can squeeze in smaller orders fairly quickly though. Feel free to call us at 978-249-2206 for exact timing.
